In Denver, a mom arrived at 5 AM to sign her daughter up for a once a week nursery program. It was too late. She would have had to arrive by 3 AM to get a spot. The mother reported, “Parents who were told there was no room at the school collapsed into tears in the parking lot.”

In Beverly Hills, a father hired an acting coach to work with his “blah” four year-old so he’d sparkle for his kindergarten interview.

Quinn’s book “The Ivy Chronicles” has struck a chord with so many parents that it is being made into a major motion picture starring Catherine Zeta Jones.
